Sparks, NV - 9/1/1953 - 8/31/2013 John died Saturday, 8/31/2013 in Reno, NV from kidney failure. His parents, John and Dorothy of Edina, MN predeceased him. He graduated from Edina High School, attended Mankato State University and graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sherre and son, Jared of Sparks, NV, his sister, Judy Bishop of Portland, OR, and his brother, Roger of Hastings, MN. John was a registered nurse and an educator for 36 years in Salt Lake City and Reno including 15 years as a flight nurse and 13 years with the VA. A memorial service is planned for 3 PM on October 24th at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sparks, NV.
