Mark was one of my very best friends in high school. We saw each other at the reunion in person for the first time in about 30 years. We were looking forward to making it an annual ritual to meet up in either in Florida or Minnesota annually in our retirement. It pains me that we now will never get that opportunity.
Truly sad news that Mark lost his life in a recent accident. Mark was one of the last friends I spoke to at the Braemar gathering before leaving. Didn't know him really well but we played together on an I-ball softball team our senior year. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sports. He sounded very happy with his life when we spoke and it was good to see him after 50 years. A real shame we lost another classmate. Don't pass up the chance to make or strengthen connections with your classmates.
