Graduate of St John's University and a WWII army veteran. Preceded in death by siblings, Thomas, Hortense, Charlotte, Clarice, Msgr. Loyola, Sr. Marie Loyola, Clement, James Aquinas, Terence and Achille Paul & brother-in-law Maurice Allbee. Survived by sister, Rose Marie; sisters- in-law, Patricia Kast and Eileen O'Dougherty; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Feb. 13, 10 AM at The Church of the Incarnation, 38th St. & Pleasant Ave. S., Mpls. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at the church and Thursday, February 12, 4-8 PM at: Washburn McReavy Edina Chapel W. 50th St & Hwy 100 952-920-3996

I loved Mr. O'Dougherty's passion for language. From "Lord Randal" to Chaucer and Shakespeare, on down to Coleridge, this was was a man with an ear.
