Diane Edwards and Al Cleveland introduced me and Marc on a blind date February 26, 1971.
Diane and Al married in 1975. Marc and I married in 1976. The four of us raised our children and had many good times together.
Cleveland, Diane K. (nee Edwards) age 54 of Elk River passed away peacefully at her northern home in Effie, MN. Preceded in death by her granddaughter, Elyce Eleanor Ose; parents, Eleanor & Bob Edwards; grandmother, Helen Henry, father-in- law, Bill Cleveland. Survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Al; children, Adam (Crystal) and Nicole (fiancé Keven Ose); granddaughters, Annika and Avriel. Also survived by sisters, Jody Edwards and her husband Ian Ross, Jeannette Edwards Doran and her significant other Jeff Lovik; mother-in-law, Evelyn Cleveland; and many cherished nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Director of nursing at Bywood East Healthcare, NE Mpls also prior to that was the Executive director at Willows South nursing home. "Diane was a caregiver in the truest meaning of the word and she will be dearly missed". Memorial service 2 PM Monday at Dare's Funeral Home 805 Main St. 763-441-1212. Visitation 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. Interment Private.
