James David Leary ("Jimbo") passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and his two dogs. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Gallagher; daughters Jamie, Molly, and Alyssa; sons-in-law Ben Sorensen and Nick Murnane; and grandson Owen. Jim is preceded in death by his sister, Annie, and parents, Janet and Richard Leary. Jim was a storied broker at CBRE for most of his life, as well as an avid outdoorsman, adventurer, and fighter until the end.
Jimbo lived by this quote and wants everyone to do the same in his honor: "If you don't do it this year, you'll be one year older when you do." - Warren Miller
The family plans to celebrate with a big party next month... everyone's invited!

I'm sorry to see Jim go. We grew up together as "Morningsiders", classmates, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, many adventures with BSA. When I paid a visit to him last year he reminded me that our mothers grew up together and went to West High School in Minneapolis, a condo occupies the lot now. RIP Jimbo
